The giveaway is closed! I will be emailing the winner this morning! Thanks for all the visits and a few new followers!

Last time around I didn't really know what Giveaway Day was, but I do now! I didn't win anything last time, but I discovered a bunch of great blogs that I still follow. I didn't want to miss the chance to participate this time! I'm going to give away 2 things. First,
The Pleated Purse.
The outside is duckcloth and the inside is broadcloth. It is approximately 14 inches wide and 12 inches long. It's a very room purse. I carried another one I made, and it was the perfect size.
The Pleated Purse.
The outside is duckcloth and the inside is broadcloth. It is approximately 14 inches wide and 12 inches long. It's a very room purse. I carried another one I made, and it was the perfect size.
There are divided pockets on each side.
I'm also giving away this yarn. It was supposed to be for scarves for my kids, one boy and one girl. My daughter loves stuff like that. However, my skills are a little bit lacking, and I couldn't use this. Maybe you can.
I will randomly chose two winners on the evening of the 25th. I will ship internationally. I would love to have more followers, but I hate those kind of giveaways. Just leave an interesting comment...what would you make, what you've won before, what you had for dinner. I have a number in my head and if I get that many followers, I'll also give away some fabric. Please be sure that your email is available in your profile or leave it in your comment.
Definitely go check out the rest of the giveaways at Sew, Mama, Sew!

Love the yarn and the bag too! Thanks so much!
The bag is very cute! I am not a super talented yarn-er, though. I dabbled in crocheting for a minute or so last year. Made two little hats for my girls, and then never touched the crochet hooks again... knitting also baffles me. I just can't seem to figure it out! And I find this very frustrating, because I'm normally very good at learning new things! Argh :(
Hehe, once you've had your first giveaway day you'll never go back!
I had a chicken stir fry for dinner but I need to put a bit more seasoning for next time.
That bag is killer!!! I have never won a giveaway before(sniff, sniff). wmslro@msn.com

The yarn would go to my mom, who crochets (maybe she'd make scarves for my boy and girl!)My little tidbit: We're having marinated pork tenderloin on the barbecue for supper tonight, and I'm already dreaming about dinner! (it's 10:30am here!)
LOL, I just had to become a follower because of your comment about others saying you have to be a follower to enter, I hate those too :)
LOve, love, love the bag, I'm limited (sadly) in the knitting / crochet ddept too, but i can make a mean scarf, I like the diagonal look, who needs plain old oblong scarves ? :)
I'm a fabric junkie, I'll make anything and everything out of fabric though, fabric takes me to my happy place.
I donated blood yesterday. That always make s me happy. I am a HERO.
I would like the yarn. I love yarn. You know what I would do with it? Love on it, squish it, feel it up, maybe down. Then it will sit in my stash until I find the perfect project for it. Unless it speaks to me right away, it does sometimes you know.
Beautiful bag, and the yarn is yummy--we could definitely use either one! Okay, I would prefer the awesome bag, but my daughter would like the yarn!
:)

11 years ago today I became a mother for the first time. Happy Birthday Caleb.
I love to crochet pretty things, I am always amazed by the amount of yarn I DON'T need to knit, and I am learning to sew in hopes of one day making a quilt. :)
I love the bag, pleats are one of my favorite things of all time. I dunno what I'd make with the yarn, probably give it to my mum because she loves to knit :) In my house, I'm the sewing one and my mom is the knitting one!
Your bag is very cute. I have won an apron before and we all love it. We use them when we bake so everyone likes to use the new one. Making chicken and rice tonight. Nice meal that everyone loves. It is hard to find something that at least one person doesn't like.

Wow! I want that bag. It is great! I didnt have anything interesting for dinner last night, but I did make some delicious strawberry muffins today. :)
If I won the yarn, I would beg my mom to knit a scarf for me, since I don't have those skills. If I won the bag, I would replace this boring solid brown one I am using.

Your butterfly bag is so pretty - love the combination of gold & browns! I am not the best knitter, but I do hope to learn crochet, I understand it's easier.
Wow...I am amazed at the blogging world. It's all new to me and I can't get over the generosity! Thank you! I have never won anything in my 34 years...not even a race when I was young. Wow that sounded pitiful. But I have been successful in other ways. My fingers are crossed! Thanks for the opportunity! KERIHAG@YAHOO.COM
I'd love to have the bag. If you have someone else that is interested in the yarn, and are allowed to give the yarn to a second person, please feel free to do so. Love your bag!!!!

Ooh, I love that bag! I would use it to carry all my crap I lug to work everyday on my commuter bus! Random comment: my cats eat raw meat. They are Savannah cats and every time I bring my meat cutting board out they star meowing and climbing the kitchen counters!

The bag is so cute!
lydia(dot)hirschi(at)gmail(dot)com
I won the cakewalk when I was 7, approximately 30 years ago. I still am feeling lucky about that one. Thank you for the opportunity to win your lovely creations and materials. I am so impressed by your quilts. I need to learn how to cut more efficiently, like you did with your plus quilt.
Lovely! Thanks for the chance.
I love chocolate.
lovelydomesticdiva (at) gmail (dot) com
Dinner tonight was some lamb, potatoes, and carrots that I had in the slow cooker all day.
I love that kind of yarn! I would either make more of my funtastic flying flowers or a not quite so fun but useful dish cloth. :o) Thanks for the chance to win!
ravensrascals at gmail dot com
I would love the yarn. I crochet hats for charity, mostly to keep my hands busy. But I get tired of one color and I love to add variegated yarn to the mix, just to see how it turns out. Mostly, the changing colors add fun and interest.I'm about out of all my good colors and will have to start on the boring ones that I've put off using. If I don't win, I'll be at the store next week for sure.
The butterflies inside the bag are such a great touch! Beautiful!
I love the yarn, I would make a scarf!
reneelasater(at)hotmail(dot)com

Such a cute bag! And I could always use more yarn LOL!
I have only one 1 give away - a charm pack of Lovely by Sandy Gervais which I love and hope to turn into the beginings of a quilt for my daughter soon.
Butterflies are my thing so I am in love with that bag. I can't knit but I have a friend who might be convinced to make a scarf for me and one for her if I share the wool.
Ooooh, love that bag! The details you've added inside (those little butterflies) is wonderful! I am trying to learn how to knit or crochet (hoping one will just suddenly 'click' and make sense to me! lol) Thank you for the chance to win!
I won a giveaway of some lovely notelets and nail varnish.
I dont usually win giveaways but I enter lots waiting for my big win on day. I love your purse- very pretty

I never win stuff like this, but if I did, I'd make some scarfs and maybe some coffee cozies :)
rachael_nicole06@hotmail.com
Having seen this purse in person, I can vouch that it's amazing. As for the yarn, I might try a scarf or maybe some washcloths. I always need more of those in the kitchen!
Also, I subscribe via google reader...not sure if that shows up in your "followers" or not.
Fabulous bag!! And I knit/crochet but haven't been too inspired lately...maybe I just need the right yarn to inspire me :) Thanks for the chance!
Oh and last night we had left-over brisket used in some yummy philly cheese steak quesadillas...mmmm
I would absolutely love the bag!
I don't know what kind of yarn it is so it is hard to say what I would make with it. But I do knit and crochet so it would get put to use.
That purse is so beautiful, I really truly love it!
My fun comment? THe first thing I ever won was a bottle of ketchup. When I was little. I wonder if that is why I love ketchup so much!
Thank you for the wonderful giveaway! I cannot knit I would have to get my knitter friend to make me something :) I do knw how to use a purse though!
I am a yarn fiend! Not sure what I'd make with it yet, but I'm sure I could come up with some ideas. Thanks for the giveaway!
